We are pleased to announce from tomorrow between 2pm and 4.30pm there are stunning Guernsey grown Christmas tree's on sale from a field still in the ground.
Every day from tomorrow between 2pm and 4.30pm you can come into the privately owned field and chose your very own local Christmas tree.
They are located as you drive through the traffic lights by Oatlands heading towards St Sampsons the field is a few hundred yards along on the right opposite Braye du Valle House.
We will sign post the field so you can clearly see it and GSPCA team members will be on hand to help.
Please do take care when coming in and out of the entrance.
Don't forget we can deliver and we will sell a selection of trees from the Shelter and our stall in town this week on Thursday and Saturday.
If you can bring your own tools that will help, but we will have a selection available to use.
We can announce if you have an Island Mums card and show it to the team you can get a £5 discount.
The trees will be on sale at the GSPCA and all of these wonderful Christmas trees that have been grown on island for the last 9 years.
On sale from £25 upwards all money raised will go towards replanting new trees for the future and the majority towards the GSPCA and helping animals in Guernsey.
They are blue spruces which is a top end tree which look fantastic and don't drop their needles.
Also being grown here in Guernsey mean they are as fresh as you can get and an extremely low carbon foot print.
All trees are 9 years old grown in Guernsey thanks to Henry Browne we are over joyed to help bring the festive season into homes this year.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "From Tuesday we will be selling locally grown Christmas trees raising funds for the GSPCA and the animals in our care all thanks to Henry Browne."
"Last year nearly £2000 was raised and we are extremely grateful to be invited back again this year."
"The trees are wonderful and you can see one now at the Town Church Christmas Tree Festival."
"Some of the funds will go back towards replanting the trees."
"So every day between 2pm and 4.30pm swing by and see these wonderful trees and make Christmas an extra special one with a locally grown tree helping charity and animals in Guernsey."
