Guernsey grown Christmas trees on sale at the GSPCA - prices and update - first tree sold

On sale now at the GSPCA we have a small number of wonderful local Christmas trees that have been grown on island for the last 8 years.
On sale from £25 upwards all money raised will go towards replanting new trees for the future and the majority towards the GSPCA and helping animals in Guernsey.
They are blue spruces which is a top end tree which look fantastic and don't drop their needles.
Also being grown here in Guernsey mean they are as fresh as you can get.
All trees are 8 years old grown in Guernsey thanks to Henry Browne we are over joyed to help bring the festive season into homes this year.
The first tree was sold to Helen Holmes who is one of the team at the Shelter and she selected a 3 foot tree and was over joyed with it.
Helen Holmes said "It's so lovely to have a locally grown Christmas tree and to be able to help the GSPCA."
"They all look great and we are hoping to raise lots of funds for the GSPCA this Sunday and in the run up to Christmas at the Shelter where we have 30 trees on sale, well 29 now."
Minimum donation for the trees is –
Under 2 feet - £25 min. donation
Under 3 feet - £35 min. donation
Under 4 feet - £45 min. donation
Under 5 feet - £55 min. donation
Under 6 feet - £65 min. donation
Over 6 feet - £75 min. donation
At the Shelter you can pay by card.
On Sunday at the field you can pay via our paypal link on our website www.gspca.org.gg, once paid please see Steve who can confirm payment.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We are so thankful to Henry Browne who has grown these wonderful Christmas trees and donated them to help us raise funds for the GSPCA."
"There are so many people already said they'd like to come on Sunday and if anyone would like to help please get in touch, we also have a stall in town tomorrow and again any help would be hugely appreciated."
"We will disclose the location of the trees tomorrow on our website and social media."
"We will be there between 10am and 4pm and is a unique opportunity as Blue Spruces are slow growing and is a once in a child's chance here in Guernsey."
