On Saturday Maddie Noyon and a group of her friends came along to the GSPCA for a Birthday guided tour.
Maddie who has just turned 7 years of age got a very special behind the scenes tour with her friends at the Shelter in St Andrews.
On requests we will arrange a special tour for a minimum donation and on Saturday Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager took the group around the site.
From seeing our resident tortoise to stroking Monkey a diabetic cat the girls all had a lovely evening.
The young ladies got to see Bonnie the grey seal pup behind the one way glass and also had a very quiet viewing of Olivia the loggerhead turtle.
After their tour Steve thanked the group who really enjoyed themselves and during their visit they all sang 'Happy Birthday' to Maddie.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We run guided tours in the school breaks with the next being in half term next week."
"We also run tours on request for a minimum donation and it was lovely to meet and show Maddie and her friends around on Saturday."
"Maddie and her friends thought it was one of the best birthdays they had been to and they got to see rabbits to cats, ferrets to hedgehogs and also a very special viewing of Bonnie the seal pup through one way glass and Olivia the loggerhead turtle."
"If you are interested in a personal tour for a birthday or other occasion please do give us a call."
"Happy Birthday to Maddie from all of the team and animals at the GSPCA."
During the school breaks we are running a series of guided tours at the GSPCA.
