On Easter Saturday 40 dogs, their owners and a team of volunteers took part in a sponsored walk to help two Guernsey charities.
Sponsored by the Pet Cabin and supported by Island FM the event helped raise funds for the GSPCA and Help a Guernsey Child.
The walk took place at 9.30 in the morning starting at North Beach and finishing at the Bridge.
Of the 40 dogs there were many that had been adopted from the Shelter as well as many others in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
Rebecca McGowan from Help a Guernsey Child with a team of helpers organised the event and from the GSPCA we would like to thank her and everyone involved for a wonderful event.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'What a wonderful day all involved had with the sponsored walk along the front with fantastic dogs raising funds to help the many animals here at the GSPCA and of course another great charity Help a Guernsey Child.'
'It was great to hear how all the dogs enjoyed their day and how tired they all were afterwards, especially Coby the staffie who had been adopted from the GSPCA.'

'It's the GSPCA Cupcake Week next week and we are hoping lot's of people will get involved making, baking and selling cake to help raise funds for the Shelter.'
