On Sunday 16th June at Saumarez Park the GSPCA stall was out supporting the Annual Classic Vehicle Show hosted by Guernsey Classic Vehicle Club LBG.
We had a great time last year and we are delighted once again had another incredible day raising funds for the many animals in our care at the GSPCA.
The day started at 11am and our stall was headed up by Community and Training Officer Tim Pellett with his daughter Evie.
Tim said “We had a great day on Fathers Day at the Annual Classic Vehicle Show.”
“It is a great family event and we are so thankful to the organisors for letting us attend.”
“We raised over £650 for the animals at the Shelter and spoke to families looking to adopt animals.”
“We also spoke to visitors that are hoping to help volunteer with us.”
“We also saw lots of our regular supporters.”
“Thank you to everyone that helped and supported our stall and to Evie who was a great help.”
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “Huge thanks to all involved making this years Annual Classic Car Show such a great event.”
“I had to miss it this year as I was running the Guernsey Dairy Milk Run Half Marathon raising funds for the GSPCA and other great causes, but a huge thanks to Tim and Evie for heading up the stall and doing so well.”
“We are always looking for helpers for our many events and love attending events so if you have one and would like us to come along please do get in touch.”
