Island FM Luke Webb wins the Luke v James Charity Challenge – huge thanks from all at the GSPCA

Before the event here are a few words from Luke “I'm taking on James in the next Episode of James v Luke, but this time it's all about charity and supporting good causes.”

“I'll be at the GSPCA, Guernsey SPCA today from 11 - 12 washing their fleet of vans, all I ask from you is give this post a share to raise awareness, or donate a couple quid if you can afford it.”
“Either to help a great local charity that do a bunch of good, or to make sure James Bentley loses another challenge...both great reasons tbh!”

“Now you can donate at anytime, but only donations between 11 - 12 will count towards James V Luke.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It was fantastic to have Luke at the GSPCA last month for the Island FM Luke v James Charity Car Wash Challenge.”

“Both presenters took very different approaches to the challenge which they had an hour to raise as much as possible.”

“James went to Vale Garage where he used the car wash to wash 9 cars and raised £290 for Guernsey Alzheimer Association and Luke actually washed 3 GSPCA vehicles and raised a whopping £430 in aid winning the challenge and helping us here at the Animal Shelter.”

“Huge thanks to Island FM and both Luke and James for promoting two charities that do so much in Guernsey and raising an incredible amount of funds.”

“The https://giving.gg/donate/event/9185/Luke-Washes-a-Bunch-of-Cars webpage now says over £600 and you can still donate if you like to our work at the GSPCA and the lovely challenge Luke did not only in aid of the GSPCA, but also helping us by washing our animal ambulances we have.”
