Jessie the cat loving her new home

Recently a young cat called Katie went to her forever home.

Christina Sauvarin new owner sent a message about Katie and said "We adopted Katie yesterday who we have now called Jessie."

"She has settled in extremely quickly and both Marc and I were delighted that she came for lots of cuddles on day one."

"She is still discovering her new home but has found several cosy spots to chill out."

"We absolutely love Jessie and would like to thank you and the whole team."

Anna Paint Senior Animal Care Assistant said "We help so many cats at the GSPCA each year and it is amazing when we hear how well they have settled into their forever homes."

"Katie was a real sweetie and the pictures are so nice to see."

"We have lots of cats in need as well as many other animals and if you are interested the best thing is to pop in any day after 11am to fill in a form and have a look around."

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Katie is really sweet and it is truly lovely and wonderful to hear she is so happy."

"We help over a 1000 cats in many ways every year at the GSPCA and thousands of other animals and without the support of the public from those that sponsor the animals to those that adopt them we really couldn't achieve so much.”

"With over 450 animals at the GSPCA we have many in need of homes and many needing support and if you can't adopt an animal there are ways to sponsor those in our care by becoming an Angel Pen Pal sponsor."

"If anyone has adopted an animal from the GSPCA please do send us a picture and update as we love to see how they are doing."

"Another way to get involved is popping along to our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday this weekend between 10am and 4pm or coming to one of our guided tours next week."
