Locally grown Christmas tree sale at the GSPCA - trees at the Animal Shelter only £20 each any size from Saturday 19th December

We are hugely grateful to everyone that has supported the sale of our our locally grown Christmas trees and especially to Mr Henry Browne who donated them to us to sell.
We have a number of trees still at the GSPCA and to anyone that would like to buy one of the last few they are on sale for just £20 each.
This will help towards replanting more trees and helping the animals at the GSPCA.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "On Saturday 19th from 9am we will be selling the remaining Christmas trees at the GSPCA Animal Shelter for just £20 each."
"We are leaving many of the trees in the field for future Christmas's so please head to the Shelter if you would like one of the last few."
"It has been a lovely few weeks selling locally grown trees and we would like to say a huge thank you to all that have supported us and especially Mr Henry Browne who donated them."
"It total we have raised just shy of £2000 and with your help selling the last few we can top this amazing sum of much needed funds."
"Although animal charities don't promote rehoming at Christmas the trees have been a first in our history in terms of numbers and promotion of looking for a species homes just for Christmas although many new owners also have the roots."
"The reception area and shop is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday."
Over the festive period please remember that in the case of an emergency, sick, injured or stray animal(s) please call 01481 257261 and choose the 24 hour emergency option.
The GSPCA officially stop rehoming on the 15th December until the 2nd January, but some animals may be suitable during these periods. The GSPCA do not believe in pets as presents and each home is looked at individually as is the pet.
The times are below for reception when you can pop in and buy everything from your Christmas lottery tickets to pets presents from the GSPCA Animal Shelter. The GSPCA want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
