We are pleased to announce we have a good idea where Dora is sleeping and the area she is in and a member of the team has videoed her from a safe distance and we are putting a plan in place which includes helping the owner with a trap and camera.
It is really important not to scare her from this area so please DO NOT go out in search of her. If you do see her please stay well back and call us immediately on 01481 257261 and choose the emergency number.
She is very timid and nervous of other dogs and won’t come for food or toys.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “After a week of Dora going missing we are getting closer to the very timid medium sized cross breed dog.”
“We are hoping she has settled on an area and yesterday GSPCA team member Neil Hughes got a short video of her from a safe distance while he waited for the owner.”
“A trap has been set and we are monitoring the area and we are asking the public not to go out in search of her as it might scare her from where we hope she has settled.”
“We popped this update online last night and its been overwhelming the love for Dora with more than 640 likes and over 500 shares on facebook alone.”
“We aren’t releasing the area she is in as we don’t want people to go out looking for her as she is so timid and could interfere with the plan we have in place.”
“We will update as and when we have more information.”
Neil Hughes GSPCA Team Member said “We had a call yesterday lunch time Dora was in a garden so we went down and she was indeed there and has been spotted in the area since.”
“When I saw her she seemed in good condition although she no longer has the medical vet on.”
“We are working with the owner and doing all we can to get her home safely.”
