This weekend why not pop to Torteval and support their annual Parish event which draws thousands every year.
With nearly 50 entries the event has been a buzz all morning with hundreds already enjoying the excellent event.
This year thanks to a GSPCA Torteval volunteer and Mr McIntyre the Animal Shelter has entered its first ever entry.
A GSPCA team went down earlier today to set up our entry 'Jessie Beagle You've Been Caged' and watch out as you're on camera.
The entry numbered 41 relives the 9 week hunt the GSPCA team had this Summer trying to catch Jessie the beagle cross who during her adventures even passed through Torteval.
You can see two volunteers Mat Hill-Smith and Jen Bradshaw who helped in the operation and also hidden away you may spot two GSPCA staff Steve Byrne and Richard Chandler all of whom were involved in trying to catch the elusive dog.
Not forgetting 'Jessie' who is of course not in the trap.
Steve Byrne, Jo Fox and Joseph Fox with their Beagle 'Molly Pop' set up first thing this morning.
Two wildlife cameras which were used to track Jessie's movements are also in place so watch out as you're on camera and may be online soon.
Steve Byrne GSPCA MAnager said "We've had great fun preparing for the Torteval Scarecrow Festival and had a lovely morning looking around the other entries today."
"It's always a fantastic family event and we would like to thank everyone involved for letting us take part with our entry 'Jessie Beagle You've Been Caged'."
"It took us 9 weeks to catch Jessie and we thought the display would help celebrate what was the largest ever operation we have had to undertake to catch a stray dog."
