Roary the GFC Lion & Daniel the Island FM Donkey join Bernard the GSPCA Mascot in the Giant Animal Race this Sunday - Could you?

This Sunday we are pleased to announce Daniel the Donkey from Island FM and Roary the Lion from Guernsey FC will be attending and taking part in the Giant Animal Mascot Race.
Joining them will be individuals from Crabby Jacks, KPMG, Travel Corporation, Greenman MCC, Sark Shipping and others and its not too late.

Giant Animal Mascot It's a Knock Out for the GSPCA
Once again we will be holding a Giant Animal Mascot Race but this year there are a few twists.
This is open to mascots and individuals prepared to dress as an animal.
We are asking businesses, pubs, individuals or anyone as a team of 4 or an individual.
Don't worry about what to wear we will provide the Giant Animal Mascot suit and have over 70 available.
To join in the team race which will be a little like 'It's A Knockout' we are asking you to raise funds for the Shelter for a team or the same if you would like to race individually..
All the money raised will go towards helping animals in Guernsey.
This year there is no cost but we do ask you raise sponsorship which will cover the cost of the animal outfit, an advert in our Summer and Autumn Newsletter, allow you to put a banner up on the day and be part of a fun fund raising event.
Corporate sponsors and businesses get to choose their suits or if they wish to provide their own it must be an animal and we still require the application form completed with the minimum sponsorship.
There are lots of events happening during the Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday from a fun dog show, arts and crafts stalls, live music,, kids games, food stalls, picture competitions and much more
This is the fourth year the event has taken place and we look forward seeing you there.
Lots of classes and lots of fun so don't forget to bring your dogs down to St Peter Port to enjoy our fourth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
Entries from 11am and judging starts at 12pm with 13 classes. This is a fun dog show and is open to any breed of dog.
1. Best Puppy Bitch Under 1 year 2. Best Puppy Dog Under 1 year 3. Prettiest Bitch 1 -7 years 4. Most Handsome Dog 1 -7 years 5. Best Veteran Bitch 7 years + 6. Best Veteran Dog 7 years + 7. Best Rescue Bitch 8. Best Rescue Dog 9. Waggiest Tail 10. The Dog Most like its owner 11. Fancy Dress 12. Best Trick 13. Judges favourite
Donations towards each class. Please enter your dog on the day.
