The search for Jessie the stray beagle cross - thanks to all that helped us get so close but sadly she's still loose near Rousse

On Friday the search for Jessie was at Grandes Rocques traveling towards Cobo which is where the reports and search was based 3 weeks ago.
Yesterday she was spotted at Port Soif near the kiosk and late Saturday near Rousse kiosk.
On Friday and Saturday GSPCA team members were out in the area talking to those walking around Grandes Rocques, Cobo and Port Soif.
Today a team went out to Rousse and with the help of members of the public we got very close on a number of occasions, but sadly despite over 2 hours of tracking her she managed to evade the search party
We are asking those living on the west coast and near Cobo, Port Soif, Grandes Rocques and Rousse to keep an eye open for Jessie.
Up until last weekend Jessie had been located in and around St Andrews and St Martins and we were working to catch her in the centre of this area. Earlier this week she had been spotted in Perelle, near the Fleur de Jardin and Beaucamps.
Previously Jessie the stray beagle cross has been seen on multiple occasions in and around the St Martins, St Andrews, St Peter Port and Forest area and we have been trying to feed her in and around a trap central to these locations.
Although GSPCA team members have got within metres of Jessie like today and she has been around the trap she is extremely nervous and takes off at speed when approached.
We are working closely with Jessie's owners to help in the search of their dog Jessie and we all appreciate the wonderful public support and reports so far.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Earlier today we scouted for Jessie the stray dog from Port Soif up the coast and we managed to track her near the Peninsula Hotel where she was spotted on the play area."
"For over 2 hours we tried to contain her with the help from fantastic members of the public, but sadly she has once again found somewhere to hide."
"We are doing everything we can to get Jessie back safe and sound to her owners and if anyone see's her please call us immediately on 257261."
We would like to highlight that Jessie is a very nervous and timid beagle cross who has only recently been adopted from a UK rescue and is scared by people and loud noises.
She is an 8 year old, female, white and brindle beagle cross with no collar.

Please do not approach or try to catch her as it is likely to scare her away and not help with her safe capture.
If she is in a secure area where you can close a gate or door then please do so and give us a call at the Shelter immediately.
With all reports the time, location and direction of movement is extremely important.
If you are able to get a picture or video clip this would really help.
At the GSPCA we have team members at the end of a phone and manning our ambulance 24 hours a day.
We are doing everything we possibly can and our team are on stand by to help in the safe capture.
There is a reward for her safe return of £200.
