This Sunday you can see over 40 local charities with a variety of stands on the front lawn of Government House.
Various activities and entertainment will take place through the afternoon and there will be food and refreshments.
Entry is free and there is a car park with a minimum £2 donation to Guernsey Scouts.
This event is being run by the Association of Guernsey Charities (AGC) by kind permission of the Lieutenant-Governor His Excellency Lieutenant-General Richard Cripwell who is the Patron of the GSPCA.
This is a great opportunity to show your support the organisations that work hard to support our community.
We have been asked to remind visitors to the event that Government House has asked visitors not to bring pets into the grounds (other than assistance dogs).
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager and AGC Director said “The GSPCA will be at this Sundays Charites Fete with our stall thanks to team member Nikki Baker and we will also be supporting a few of the other charities present with gazebos and tables.”
“The AGC recently launched the #WithoutUs campaign to highlight the wonderful work of charities and volunteers in Guernsey and this is there BIG event of the year to celebrate charities taking place at Government House between 12pm and 4pm.”
