Yesterday our Christmas Day cat was adopted.
Socks who arrived at the GSPCA on Christmas Day after an accident was adopted by a lovely family.
On Christmas Day Socks was involved with a road traffic accident and needed treatment before he could find a new home.
After 2 months of care and veterinary treatment he was ready for rehoming.
At only 2 years of age, Socks who is a lovely, friendly, tabby and white male cat was rehomed to the Inder family.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "It is both wonderful and sad when our animals leave us at the GSPCA, but we do really love finding our animals at the Shelter the new and loving home that they need."
"We have had an amazing few weeks rehoming cats with many of our long stay cats heading to new homes including Mitzi and Muji"
"We still have a few needing very special homes like Feather and Jess who need a home together."
"We wish Socks all the best and hope he has a wonderful life with John and Anthea."
"The buildings where we keep our cats are now getting on in years and we are currently fund raising for our new multi-purpose animal welfare building which is well under way and we are appealing for individuals and businesses to join us and become a Build Partner and if you are interested we would love to hear from you."
