Specsavers staff help out at the GSPCA - Thank you from all of the team and animals

Yesterday a team of 7 staff from Specsavers spent the day helping at the GSPCA.
The staff were the second group from Specsavers to help this year at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
The group arrived at 9am and had a quick induction, group picture and were then quickly set to work around the site.
The 7 Specsavers staff were split around the site and helped with everything from walking dogs to cleaning cats, scrubbing hedgehog pens to helping sort donations.
After a full day of helping the team were given a tour and each given a certificate of thanks for helping at the GSPCA.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "We had another really lovely group of staff from Specsavers helping at the GSPCA yesterday."

"So may people don't realise that we operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week, that we help over 3000 animals a year and that it costs £2000 a day to run the Shelter and all this without the new much needed multi purpose animal welfare building we are constructing which is costing £1.3 million replacing 5 very old buildings."
"There are so many ways businesses can help from time to supporting our new build, advertising in our quarterly newsletter to sponsoring a kennel."
