The GSPCA are hugely grateful to the staff at Specsavers who have given so much time to help animals and the work of the GSPCA over recent months.
Tim Pellett GSPCA Training and Community Officer said “On the 15th May, 4th June and 8th June we have greeted amazing volunteers from Specsavers.”
“On the 15th May we had 3 wonderful volunteers from Specsavers who helped with decorating our Chapel of Rest which is a peaceful area bereaved owners can spend time with their animals such as the many killed on our roads.”
“On the 4th June we had the biggest group which was 8 Specsavers volunteers who did everything from helping care for the animals to continuing decorating the Chapel of Rest to gardening and grounds work in and around our Garden of Rest.”
“The final 3 came in on Saturday 15th June and helped Anna in the cattery and with the care of the animals at the GSPCA.”
“All 14 volunteers from Specsavers were great and so much help and I got to show many of them much of our work while they were with us.”
