On Friday 24th we will be launching our Virtual Petshow so we can celebrate animals in Guernsey and our pets past and present. Sadly due to the Corona virus the GSPCA has had to postpone it's biggest Seafront event and fundraiser of the year until 2021. Our Seafront Sunday, due to take place on Sunday May 31st is the biggest celebration of animals in Guernsey and raises much needed funds for the Shelter. This money is vital to enable us to continue with all of our essential work with companion animals and wildlife across the Islands.
On Sunday the GSPCA ran and organised the 8th Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and what an incredible day it was.
With over 100 stalls, displays, charities, activities and 100s of animals there was a huge amount to do and see celebrating animals in Guernsey.
There were many new attractions and stalls from Crown and Anchor to peddle boats, displays on the problems with plastics and biodiversity, prosseco and Wheedons Gin to Paws for Support and Wag.

It's only days away until the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and the team and those supporting are busy getting ready for the BIG day.
Once again we will have a free kids zone area with chalk drawing, games, space hoppers and more to keep the little ones entertained.
For any children in fancy dress please come along to the GSPCA stall which will also be on the Crown Pier for a free prize for helping make our day to celebrate animals a little bit extra special.
At the GSPCA we are normally appealing for homes for animals, but we are currently appealing for your unwanted soft toys.
The cuddly toys we are appealing for will found good homes as prizes on some of our games to help raise funds for the Shelter such as our upcoming Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.
If you have any unwanted soft toys then please pop them up to the Shelter or if you need a vehicle to pick up quite a few then please let us know and we can arrange collection.
