Be aware this weekend you could be putting your pet at risk this Easter if you feed your pet chocolate intended for people.

Across the Bailiwick we are all stocking up Easter eggs and chocolate as gifts for family and loved ones but the GSPCA has an important message for pet owners.

Today between 11am and 3.30pm we are holding an Easter open day at the Shelter.

We have the field next door thanks to our friendly farmer so have plenty of parking.  No charge but we are asking for a donation.

You can do all sorts from mucking a pupcake for the pooches at the Shelter to decorate a cupcake.  Colour a bunny mask to pretend to be a bunny on our Easter assault course.

Lots of fun for all the family.

The events during the day are -

Fun at Blanchelande Easter Fundraiser and Bernard met the new Bailiff

Submitted by GSPCA on 19:48, 26th Mar, 2012 | 0

This Sunday gone, volunteers from the Shelter ran a stall at the Blanchelande Easter Event to raise much needed funds for the GSPCA.

We took a range of the pet and GSPCA goods as well as two rabbits and a baby chick to show some of the welfare work carried out at the GSPCA.

Bernard the mascot and the GSPCA's own Easter bunny came along to entertain the many children and adults.  In fact Bernard got to meet the new Baliff, Richard Collas.
