Why not get a special gift for a loved one this Christmas.
This is your opportunity to give a gift of or for you to visit behind the scenes at our Animal Shelter in St Andrews and see the work being carried out for the new build.
Between Christmas and New Years Day we are running guided tours around the Animal Shelter and have gift certificates that can be collected from the reception desk for those wanting to give a tour as a present.
We are arranging the guided tours on a series of dates at 2pm and there will be many set soon throughout 2017.
Today is your last chance between 2pm and 4.30pm to come into the privately owned field and chose your very own local Christmas tree.
They are located as you drive through the traffic lights by Oatlands heading towards St Sampsons the field is a few hundred yards along on the right opposite Braye du Valle House.
We have sign posted the field so you can clearly see it and GSPCA team members will be on hand to help.
Please do take care when coming in and out of the entrance.
Don't forget we can deliver.
Last week the wonderful team at Situations Recruitment invited GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne to see them at their office in St Peter Port.
Situation Recruitment team members Michelle, Jenny and Lisa greeted Steve with a large box of wonderful gifts for the many animals in the care of the GSPCA.
All of the team are hugely grateful to the wonderful staff at Situation Recruitment for such a kind and wonderful gift which will help bring Christmas to the animals in our care at the Animal Shelter.
The GSPCA have got involved with the festivities as today we held a festive themed mufti day.
Staff and volunteers have joined in to help raise funds for the animals in our care.
With over 300 animals at the GSPCA the team want them to have a lovely 2016 Christmas.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Staff and volunteers helping at the GSPCA today are sporting festive themed jumpers and we have held bit of a mufti day to raise funds for the animals in our care."

With Christmas fast approaching why not have a bit of fun in work or at school and help raise funds for animals in Guernsey.
Many of us love to dress up with a Christmas theme or get our dog a festive coat and why not join this with raising funds for the GSPCA.
Could not have a mufti day or dress up day in aid of the GSPCA with a Christmas theme?
Could you take your dog to work and let them join in the festivities as something different to do?

All we want for Christmas is to find Betty a home.
At the GSPCA we do not promote pets as presents but we are looking to find Betty that very special someone.
Betty is an amazing English Bull Terrier, bouncy, energetic and a really silly dog. She is a typical Bully and tends to go through things; acting first and thinking later.
