Too many Easter Eggs? Why not make the 2013 Itex Rotary walk part of your get fit regime!
The walk has now become one of Guernsey's key fund raising events for local charities and attracts several hundred participants every year determined to complete the nearly forty mile route.
2013 is the sixteenth year that the walk has been held and each year significant sums of money have been raised. In 2012 the walk raised nearly £52,000 and with your help we will hit a similar level this year.

The GSPCA would like to thank everyone that has been supporting our Tuesday bric-a-brac and coffee mornings as well as our open days.
So we can continue doing these at the Shelter and to help with other events we are appealing for additional bric-a-brac, games, books, clothes and other charity shop items to help raise funds to help rescue and care for animals in Guernsey.
Many of us are having a Spring clean so when you do yours please think of the Animal Shelter and how your unwanted items can make a difference to animals lives.
Monday 25th March to the 31st March 2013 is the second GSPCA Cupcake Week here in Guernsey.
Can you make/bake & sell cupcakes to raise money for the GSPCA? By doing so you would be helping many injured and abandoned animals.
Why not get baking, organise a cupcake sale or coffee morning, or if you're a business maybe sell some on the day and make a percentage to go the GSPCA.
On Saturday the 9th March the GSPCA will be holding a bric-a-brac sale, coffee morning and guided tours due to demand.
A number of islanders have been asking that we hold a weekend event to enable them to have a look around and see the two seal pups through the one way glass before they are released back to the wild next month.
The day will start at 9.15am with the first tour being at 9.30am. We are asking for a minimum donation of £5 per person for the tour and we require at least one adult per 6 children.
