Yesterday the GSPCA and supporters spent the day at the Last Post celebrating St Andrews Day.
A fun family day was held in the Parish of St Andrews to raise funds for animals in Guernsey.
The GSPCA has been based in St Andrews since 1929 and for the first time we held an event to celebrate our Parishes Saint.
We had a small fun dog show, lots of games, goods on sale, a raffle and great entertainment.
GU10 and local bagpiper Simon Chapman entertained the crowd which certainly added a wonderful atmosphere.
The Last Post was decorated to set the scene with help from the Guernsey Scottish Association and a box of decorations.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We all had a lovely day at the Last Post yesterday raising funds for the GSPCA and celebrating St Andrews Day."

"Our next big event is our Santa Paws Dog Walk and Christmas Fayre with the Cheshire Home in the inner Market Building on Sunday 14th December and for the Late Night Shopping Thursdays you can find us outside Barclay's Bank this year."
