Today at the GSPCA we welcomed our first group of Voluntourists of 2015.
4 holiday makers from the Crystal Serenity spent much of today learning about and helping animals in Guernsey.
This is the second year we are offering a Volutourist day at the Shelter with Crystal Cruises and all of the group left the GSPCA smiling having had an enjoyable time.
The group arrived at the Shelter just after 10am where GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne took them on a tour of the Shelter so they could get their bearings and to find out about the work we do and the history of the GSPCA, as well as a little about Guernsey.
After the guided tour each were given a GSPCA Polo Shirt (these are on sale on our web shop) as part of the trip package, a quick photo was taken with beagle puppy Molly whilst they were clean, they met the team and were partnered with staff and volunteers to help around the site.
From walking dogs, socialising cats to groomoing rabbits everyone got involved helping around the Shelter.

All of the voluntourists were very kind and shared lovely sentiments with the GSPCA about their short time at the GSPCA.
