On Saturday 15th November the World Premiere First screening of Fade2Grey's amazing live concert in Herm filmed in May 2014 was held at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts.
On 23rd May 2014, 80s electronica band Fade2Grey made history by taking a full concert rig to Herm Island and performing in front of 450 fans. The concert was filmed and has been released as a live DVD.
The evening was in aid of GSPCA and World Vision. Doors opened 7pm on what was a very wet and windy evening. Each of the great crowd that attended received a free DVD of the gig.
On Saturday 15th November, Fade2Grey introduced the first screening of the concert at the PRCPA on Guernsey's biggest screen using brand new projection facilities and surround sound which the crowd thoroughly enjoyed.
Everyone had the chance to either re-live the memories of this outstanding evening, or if you they weren't lucky enough to be there on the night they got to enjoy one of Fade2Grey's finest performances.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager went along and said "It was great to meet the fantastic lads from Fade2Grey and re-live what was a great night back in Spring on Herm."
"There was a great crowd and from all of the team and animals at the GSPCA we must say a huge thank you to the band and of course everyone that supported and helped with such a wonderful evening."
Copies of the DVD are available at a number of locations and to find out more here is their band Website www.fade2grey.org
