On Thursday last week at St Pierre Park Hotel the GSPCA thanks to Mark Bayliss held an Art Exhibition and Sale.
With drinks and canapes sponsored by the Heritage Group, a lovely evening was had by all that attended.
The event was the first commercial sale of work of local artist Mark Bayliss and both he and the GSPCA were delighted by the attendance and the number of pieces that sold to raise funds for the Animal Shelter.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'What a lovely evening we all had on Thursday at the St Pierre Park Hotel.'
'We must thank the St Pierre Park Hotel for the room, the Heritage Group for their support and sponsorship, Martel Maides for their support and help and of course to the Artist Mark Bayliss for donating the wonderful art work not to mention all that supported the event.'
'For those that couldn't attend we have calendars and notelet cards on sale at the Shelter with a selection of the art work.'
'We also have a few pictures left and if anyone is interested please do get in touch.'
With funds still coming in for the event we are expected to raise betwenn £2000 and £3000.

Art Auction at St Pierre Park Hotel Sponsored by the Heritage Group. If you book a meal at the Victor Hugo Restaurant at the St Pierre Park Hotel then a donation from every meal will be made to the GSPCA. Also the Pavilion will be opening on the evening with their Tennerfest menu and they too are donating proceeds from each meal to the GSPCA.
