Sadly one of the full time members of staff is unable to work the hours at the Animal Shelter and we are having to soon wish her luck in her new career.
Ashleigh Le Pelley joined the team earlier this year and although she enjoys her role very much, due to other commitments she is moving into another role but will carry on volunteering at the GSPCA.
This has made an opening for an exciting and diverse position at the GSPCA Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
We have a full time Animal Care Post that although is working primarily 8am until 6pm 2 days working in the the kennels and 2 days on the rehoming and welfare cattery with 2 days off on a rolling rota, the successful candidate will also learn to care for the many other species on site and help cover areas from wildlife to the ambulance, reception to night duties.
We are also looking for someone to help cover these duties on a zero hour casual contract which is mostly covering holidays and sickness primarily on the weekends to help ensure the needs of the Animal Shelter are met.
The successful applicants will join the 17 members of staff and over 600 volunteers in one of Guernseys busiest and largest charities that works 24 hours 7 days a week making a huge difference helping animals and the community every day.
To download an application pack and for full details please call 257261, pop into the Shelter in St Andrews or download by clicking the link below.
Closing date for applications is Monday 20th June 2016 at 1700 hours and those successful for an interview will be emailed or phoned on the Tuesday 21st June to arrange a time.
Interviews are planned for Friday 24th June 2016.
