This Friday to celebrate World Animal Day please pop along to Market Square in St Peter Port to visit the GSPCA stall which will not only have a selection of goods and pet supplies on sale, but we will also have a small selection of animals in need of good homes and a display of many others in need at the Shelter.
The Shelter is currently inundated with small animals, birds, cats and dogs in need of good homes and this week we have held for the first time late night openings with the last one tonight.
If you would like to pop along to the Shelter today until 8pm you can pop up and see many of the animals in our Event Room looking for new homes and also tomorrow between 10am and 4pm.
The room also has a large selection of bric-a-brac, pet supplies, snacks and drinks.
Last night was the first late night opening and we had a great turn out with a lot of interest in cats looking for good homes.
