Volunteers needed to help fill the gaps for the GSPCA Flag Day round Guernsey this Saturday. Please can you help?

This Saturday the 24th August the GSPCA will be collecting around Guernsey for our annual Flag Day.
We have filled many of the locations but we are still appealing for volunteers to help with the collecting.
Sarah Ozanne Organisor of this years Flag Day said 'Thank you to all of the volunteers that have put their names to help so far but we really need another dozen volunteers to help fill the gaps.'
'Herm Kiosk we are trying to get a good turn out especially volunteers that don't mind dressing as Giant Animal Mascots.'
'Please, please let me know as soon as you can if you can help.'
The locations that we are currently arranging are -
Alliance
Aladdins Cave
Beau Sejour
Castle Cornet
Marks and Spencers in St Peter Port
The Pet Cabin
Waitrose - Rohais
Waitrose - Admiral Park
Friquet Garden Centre
Herm Kiosk
Forest Stores
Bus Terminus
Market Square
We are looking for volunteers to help with the 2 hour shifts in these locations from 10am until 6pm. If you can help please contact Sarah Ozanne at the Shelter by emailing [email protected] or call 01481 257261.
Last year we raised over £3000 thanks to all of the volunteers that helped.
Also 31st August we are also looking for volunteers to help collect at the following -
Marks and Spencers - L'Ilset
Marks and Spencers - St Martins

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'We have attended many of the shows and events over the last few months and I must thank everyone that has helped and supported so far.'

The following are events planned for 2013
Every Tuesday during term time between 10.30am and 12pm at the GSPCA we have a coffee morning with bric-a-brac and pet supplies on sale (free entry) also guided tours at £5 per person minimum donation available at 11am. Please click here for more details
21st - 22nd August 2013 North Show GSPCA stall - volunteers needed to help with the stand
GSPCA Flag Day August 24th - we are looking for volunteers to help make this the biggest and best flag day the GSPCA has held
Sunday 25th August - Vale Earth Fair - volunteers needed to help with the stand
Wednesday 4th September 6.30pm - Volunteer Induction Evening - to be held at the Shelter, more details to follow
