BBC Make a Difference Award nominations now open and could you nominate in their new Animal Award?

The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say thank you and recognise those who love to make life better for others.

All the categories are listed below. The awards have a new one this year open to animals and those who work with them or improve their welfare. As a nation of animal lovers we all know how much they mean to our communities.

The award nominations are open now and close Sunday 10 March 2024 at 11pm. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category, across each local BBC radio station.

Shortlisted finalists will be notified from May 2024 and our Make a Difference Award ceremonies are taking place across England from September 2024. Click here for full award rules and our privacy notice.

Great Neighbour Award
