The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say thank you and recognise those who love to make life better for others.

All the categories are listed below. The awards have a new one this year open to animals and those who work with them or improve their welfare. As a nation of animal lovers we all know how much they mean to our communities.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “The BBC Make A Difference Awards are now open for nominations and for the second year they have The Animal Award.”

“We have been told this award is going to be awarded to an animal that improves the life of an individual or group of people, or a person or group of people working with animals to improve animal welfare.”

“If you think that could be an animal, person, group, member of our team or even the GSPCA then please click here to make your vote by visiting The Animal Award .”

“At the GSPCA we help 1000’s of animals every year, our team all do so much incredible work and there are so many others that help animals and we have incredible animals also here in the Bailiwick so please do check out the link and if you can make a vote.”

"There are lots of ways to support our work in our and for lots of ideas please visit www.gspca.org.gg  .”

The award nominations are open now and close Monday 31st March 2025 at 5pm. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category, across each local BBC radio station.
