Could you help sponsor the hand rear baby hedgehogs (hoglets) or others at the GSPCA

On the 8th May three young hoglets were found abandoned by their mum in the Vale area.
At only a couple of weeks of age and barely able to walk or see the baby hedgehogs were rescued by one of our Volunteer Wardens and brought into the GSPCA.
When they arrived the GSPCA team worked quickly to warm them up and feed them.
For the last two weeks the team have been looking after them around the clock bottle feeding and caring for them in an intensive care unit.
Each day they grow stronger and we will hopefully soon have them feeding on solids.
Sarah Ozanne Animal Care Assistant and Joe Streeting Volunteer have headed up the over night care and looked after Rita, Dot and Mindy as they've been named.
Sarah Ozanne Animal Care Assistant said "We help hundreds of hedgehogs every year at the GSPCA and at this time of year you may come across a mother with young which are always best left alone but if you are concerned please do call us for advice."
"When Mindy, Rita and Dot were found the area was monitored to see if a mother was near but sadly something had happened and they were rescued by one of our volunteers."
"Each day they are putting on weight and they are currently in one of our intensive care units at the GSPCA."
