This week many schools break up and many already have.
If you are 14 years or over, have you thought of helping animals during your Summer break?
Our next Volunteer Induction at the GSPCA is on Monday 20th July at 3pm.
All ages are welcome, but to help on site with the animals you have to be 14 years old or over.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal care Assistant said "We have a wonderful team of volunteers that help us at the GSPCA and we always love to welcome those wanting to help."
"From gardening to answering the phone there is a job to help in many different ways on and off the Animal Shelter."
"For those under 14 years of age if you have a parent or guardian that would like to join you we have many events and fund raisers that you can help us with."
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "Volunteers help in so many ways at the GSPCA and we are hugely grateful to each and every one."
"We are looking to recruit additional volunteer wardens to help us provide weekend and night ambulance cover at the GSPCA to those that can help on site."
"We are always keen to get involved those that want to help us here at the GSPCA and we are also looking for those that would like to help us on our front reception desk and with a bit of gardening around site."
"During the first week in June we counted the number of volunteers that helped and it totaled 91 individuals helping over just 7 days which is just amazing and we are so thankful to all of them."
"We have Volunteer Inductions planned throughout 2015 with the next being held on July 20th at 3pm."
