Earlier today GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne popped along to Ravenscroft Ltd at the Market Buildings to present them with certificates and the Champions Giant Animal Mascot 5-a-side Shield.
At the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday last month the team from Ravenscroft Ltd beat every team in their way to become the 2018 champions.
They won their first game against The Plough Inn 6 to 5, they then won the final against Isabelle Vets who were last years champions 5 to 4 and then the super final against the GSPCA team with Bernard the GSPCA Mascot, Daniel the Island FM Donkey, Roary the GFC Lion and friends was a draw at 3 all so went to penalties which Ravenscroft won the very fun and unusual 5-a-side game in aid of the GSPCA and animals in Guernsey.

“It’s already taken pride of place alongside the framed certificate and we are so grateful to their support at our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.”
“We raised over £6000 and funds are still coming in from the football teams and a huge thanks to all supported the wonderful day.”
