With another roasting day ahead of us the GSPCA want to ensure all pet owners take care of their animals.
The GSPCA during hot weather always receive reports from concerned members of the public that have seen dogs locked in cars and other animals in glass houses.
The last month has been no different with dogs being reported in cars to pigs in greenhouses.
With the warm weather and direct sunlight, dogs in cars are potentially in a situation where you could kill your pet if it is left, regardless of the situation.
Tomorrow between 9am and 6pm the GSPCA will be at the EY Careers and Skills Show at Beau Sejour.
At our stand we will have members of our team to chat about working for the GSPCA and also the many volunteer opportunities.
Not only will there be members of our team through the day, we will also have a few shelled four legged friends.

On Sunday the GSPCA held its first ever event in conjunction with Beau Cinema which was a MASSIVE success.
The sell out showing of the Secret Life of Pets at Beau Sejour with the GSPCA team and animals was a fantastic afternoon with the 400 ticket holders being joined by hundreds of other visitors viewing the animals from the Animal Shelter, saying hello to the Giant Animal Mascots, playing the many games, having photos and supporting the work of the GSPCA.
On Sunday despite the awful weather a team of GSPCA volunteers headed to Beau Sejour to join the wonderful annual Round Table Christmas Fayre.
The team arrived and started to set up at 8am ready for the droves that arrived when the doors opened at 9.45am.
Helen Holmes, Jo Fox, Joseph Fox and Steve Byrne were kept very busy all day serving the many customers who shopped for their gifts off our stall, Christmas cards, teddies and playing the many games we took along.
