On the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st of December and also on Saturday 2nd January we are running guided tours around the Animal Shelter and have gift certificates that can be collected from the reception desk for those wanting to give a tour as a present.
We are arranging the guided tours on a series of dates at 2pm and there are many throughout 2016.
We ask for a minimum donation of £5 per person and £3 per child, or £15 for a family of four. (In 2016 we have some themed tours which are £15 per child.)
Why not get a special gift for a loved one this Christmas.

Over the weekend to raise funds for the many animals at the GSPCA staff and volunteers helped organise and run 5 separate events.
Both days we sold Christmas trees, on Saturday we had a stall in town, we had a stall and Santa Paws Walk in Saumarez Park on Sunday and we also had a stall at Oatlands on Sunday.
Not only did we raise money on our games and gift stall the pitch fees were donated to the the GSPCA and we would like to say a huge thank you to all involved and supported, especially all of the stall holders.
The recently rebranded Christies Group has just launched its new, group gift card. For use in any of the businesses in the group, the cards can be purchased in any value from Christies, The Boathouse, The Swan Inn, Villa and Crabby Jack’s. Christophe Gaultier, Managing Director of the group said “we are a locally run family business and the launch of our new gift cards will make it easier for families across Guernsey to sample all of our establishments”.
Last Thursday and Saturday we once again joined the many stall holders at the Guernsey Market Buildings.
With a selection of games, goods and Christmas trees a fun day was had and we would like to thank all that supported and helped.
Volunteers and helpers included Helen, Adele, William, Sheila, Kevin, Sarah and Steve who together helped raise nearly £600 between the two days.
We are planning to have a stall this Thursday which will be the last of the year and we are hoping to have a stall at Oatlands on Sunday for the Christmas Market there.
On Saturday and Sunday volunteers manned the field once again near Oatlands to sell locally grown Christmas trees raising funds for the GSPCA and animals in Guernsey.
In total the trees have raised nearly £2000 and we still have some on sale at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne helped organise the days but couldn't have run them without Alex, Caroline and Calum this weekend and Matt and Jen last weekend.
Yesterday we held our Santa Paws Dog Walk in Saumarez Park.
We would like to thank all that attended and it was wonderful to see so many happy dogs dressed to celebrate the festive season.
Over a dozen dogs supported the event which was sponsored by the Saumarez Park Tea Rooms.
We had a stall with a selection of goods and tombolas and with this and the walk proceeds to date have raised over £200.
The walk took place around the park with GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne and then 6 year old Joseph Fox from St Martins Primary School judged the fancy dress.
Today we are not only in St Peter Port Market Square on the terrace with a stall, we are also selling locally grown Christmas trees on Braye du Val selling Christmas trees, which is near Oatlands.
All proceeds will help the hundreds of animals at the GSPCA.
We are also selling the trees tomorrow from the field, at Oatlands with a stall and we have our Santa Paws Sponsored Dog Walk in Saumarez Park.
We hope to see you at one of our many events this weekend.
