In only 3 days on Saturday 1st September a very brave Lorna Prince who is the GSPCA Welfare Manager has decided to do something to help the many animals at the Shelter. Lorna is not keen on heights at all and even less keen of falling but she has signed up to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet over Guernsey in a tandem Skydive.
Lorna is doing this to raise funds for the Shelter and she needs your support.
To sponsor Lorna please click here and pop reference 'Lorna skydive' so we can include it to her running total
Below are the outfits available so far and listed those that are currently sponsored. On Saturday we held our Fun Dog Show and Summer Fayre.
We say summer but unfortunately the heavens opened and it rained for most of the day. Despite the wet weather the show went ahead.
As we had to fit owners and dogs into the training room at the Shelter the decision had to be made to go from 13 classes to 1 big class which was judged by Channelonline presenter Rob Moore.
Over 50 dogs attended and Rob met each dog and chatted to all the owners. From chihuahuas to boxers, staffies to cross breeds, there were dogs of all shapes and sizes.
