This Saturday at the St Pierre Park Hotel we are all looking forward to Sidney's Sponsored Events 1920's St. Valentine's Day Mafia Ball which takes place 142 years since the day we the GSPCA was founded.
All week we are holding events for GSPCA Purple Week to celebrate.
As part of the evenings entertainment there will be an auction and here is a sneak preview of the wonderful items up for grabs.

On Saturday at the St Pierre Park Hotel the Viva Las Vegas Ball was held in aid of the GSPCA and the Thomson Memorial Trust, two local Guernsey charities.
Organised by Corinne Connolly from Sidneys Sponsored Evetnts and her friends and sponsored by Hepburns Insurance the evening had a 1950's and 60's theme.
This Saturday at the St Pierre Park Hotel it is the Viva Las Vegas Casino Ball to raise funds for two local charities the GSPCA and the Thomson Memorial Trust.
With a 1950/60's dress code, casino, an American themed menu, the band Jomali, a fantastic raffle and lot's or surprises planned we are all looking forward to a great night.
Mary-Louise Ward would like to let those going on Saturday to the sell out GSPCA Masquerade Ball at St Pierre Park Hotel about having their nails done.
Mary-Louise will do them at a discounted £20 and donate £5 to the GSPCA for each person.

On Thursday last week at St Pierre Park Hotel the GSPCA thanks to Mark Bayliss held an Art Exhibition and Sale.
With drinks and canapes sponsored by the Heritage Group, a lovely evening was had by all that attended.
The event was the first commercial sale of work of local artist Mark Bayliss and both he and the GSPCA were delighted by the attendance and the number of pieces that sold to raise funds for the Animal Shelter.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'What a lovely evening we all had on Thursday at the St Pierre Park Hotel.'
We are all looking forward to the GSPCA Mystery of Masquerade Charity Ball this Saturday.

On Saturday the 19th October at 10am the ITV Channel Online Presenter Rob Moore will be unavailing a local artists wildlife pictures in the Events Room at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews for the GSPCA.
There will be 22 works of art on show in various mediums that can be viewed up until Thursday 24th October when they will be transported to St Pierre Park Hotel to be auctioned off to the highest bidders and those gathered can enjoy drinks and nibbles sponsored by the Heritage Group.
