The GSPCA are currently looking for additional staff members to help with our increasingly busy front desk, the animals, guided tours, cleaning and to continue to develop our charity shop area.

The closing date for these posts is Thursday 19th April 2018.

The roles are casual positions to help cover 7 days a week and especially on weekends and bank holidays when the GSPCA is often extremely busy.

The GSPCA Community & Training Officer is a unique role designed to not only set up the first ever Animal Care NVQ's in Guernsey, it is also a post to help benefit a greater number of placements through Social Security and increase their skills amongst other challenges.

The GSPCA are currently looking for additional staff members to help with our increasingly busy front desk, the animals, guided tours, cleaning and develop our charity shop area

The roles are to help cover 7 days a week and especially on weekends and bank holidays when the GSPCA is often extremely busy.

We have a team of 24 staff and over 750 volunteers and without the whole team we couldn't help the 3000+ animals that come through the doors every year, care for the many boarders and achieve so much.

Tomorrow between 9am and 6pm the GSPCA will be at the EY Careers and Skills Show at Beau Sejour.

At our stand we will have members of our team to chat about working for the GSPCA and also the many volunteer opportunities.

Not only will there be members of our team through the day, we will also have a few shelled four legged friends.

Vacancy - Full time & Casual Animal Care Assistant Post - Reception, Night & Animal Collection Duties - closing date 20/6/16

Sadly one of the full time members of staff is unable to work the hours at the Animal Shelter and we are having to soon wish her luck in her new career.

Ashleigh Le Pelley joined the team earlier this year and although she enjoys her role very much, due to other commitments she is moving into another role but will carry on volunteering at the GSPCA.

This has made an opening for an exciting and diverse position at the GSPCA Animal Shelter in St Andrews.

VACANCY - Part time Animal Care Assistant post at the GSPCA - 3 mornings on 3 days off on a rolling rota - Closing date 25/3/16

After nearly 13 years of service the team at the GSPCA will sadly be waving off Inez Rawcliffe who has been a fantastic member of staff working primarily with the Boarding Cats as well as helping other team members care for the hundreds of animals at the GSPCA.

Inez who works opposite Collette Pattimore 3 morning on 3 days off has helped care for thousands of cats over the years and we will all be very sad to see her retire.

Vacancy for a Maintenance and Grounds Assistant at the GSPCA

We currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance and Grounds Assistant at the GSPCA.  This is due to Ryan who has been with us in the role for nearly 2 years sadly leaving the team to move on to a new career path.

We have 21 staff at the Shelter and over 200 volunteers that not only have to care for the many animals, but we also have to look after nearly 4 acres of land, 4 vehicles and many buildings.
