This year the GSPCA Flag Day took place on Saturday 20th August and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved from Sarah Ozanne who organised, all that collected including many pets, the locations for allowing us to collect and of course to all that donated.
All around Guernsey on the 20th August you could see the collectors at locations like Aladdins Cave, Beau Sejour, Castle Cornet, Creature Comforts, Le Friquet Garden Centre, Herm Kiosk, Forest Stores, the Bus Terminus, Co-op St Sampsons and St Martins as well as the many supporters that donated sporting their GSPCA flag day stickers.
An amazing £1552.62p was raised and we have a further dates in locations we were unable to collect at on the day and are currently looking for volunteers to help. These additional locations and dates are -
Marks & Spencers stores on 22nd October Waitrose Admiral Park and Rohais on 26th November
Time slots- 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6pm

Please let Sarah know when and what time is convenient.
Some places are allowing friendly dogs to help out, so if you are interested please don’t hesitate to ask.
Also if some of you or your children are interested in dressing up, we have a lovely variety of mascot suits to choose from.
If you can’t help on the day if you do see our volunteers out and about please do help by popping a few pennies in the box to help the 300+ animals in our care.
