Last Saturday the Grammar School held their annual Christmas Fayre.
A team of volunteers from the GSPCA attended with a stall and we would like to thank them and all that attended for their fantastic support.
In just two hours between 2pm and 4pm Steve Byrne, Jo Fox and Joseph Fox managed to raise just over £194 through the games and goods on the GSPCA stall.
With loads of fun things to do, plenty of stalls and of course Santa in his grotto a fun time was had by all.
On Sunday despite the awful weather a team of GSPCA volunteers headed to Beau Sejour to join the wonderful annual Round Table Christmas Fayre.
The team arrived and started to set up at 8am ready for the droves that arrived when the doors opened at 9.45am.
Helen Holmes, Jo Fox, Joseph Fox and Steve Byrne were kept very busy all day serving the many customers who shopped for their gifts off our stall, Christmas cards, teddies and playing the many games we took along.
Le Friquet Garden Centre have a lot planned over the upcoming weeks to Christmas and on Saturday 3rd December the GSPCA will join them with a stall to raise funds for the many animals in our care
Our fund raising stall will have all our classic tombolas, games and a few Christmas gifts on sale.

The GSPCA now have three styles of Christmas pin badge designs on sale.
If your office or shop could help with a counter box or collection tin we would love to hear from you.
We now have a Christmas robin, snowman and gingerbread man on sale for only £2.
The pin badges are set on a festive GSPCA card with a Christmas greeting and two designs having some Guernsey French on them.
Not only are they now on sale at the GSPCA if your shop, business, school or office could sell in one of our counter box displays we would love to hear from you.
For the fourth year the GSPCA has tickets for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery on sale at the Animal Shelter reception desk and you only have hours left.
The 2015 tickets which are only £2 each are on sale and each have two numbers on and a scratch card section.
Profits from the lottery will help local charities, which is due to be drawn on 18th December 2014.
We are hugely grateful to everyone that has supported the sale of our our locally grown Christmas trees and especially to Mr Henry Browne who donated them to us to sell.
We have a number of trees still at the GSPCA and to anyone that would like to buy one of the last few they are on sale for just £20 each.
This will help towards replanting more trees and helping the animals at the GSPCA.

At the Shelter the team are working 24/7 to care for the 300 animals at the Shelter and we would like to thank everyone for their kind to donations to brighten the animals Christmas day.

Today is our very last off site fund raiser of 2015 and we are joining the many market stall holders at Oatlands who are donating their pitch fees to help the animals at the GSPCA.
If you can help volunteer we would really appreciate it and we will be setting up from 9am and will have games and a few goods on sale until 4pm.
