Earlier today a cat was reported being hit by a car in the Jerbourg area.
It was reported to be an adult tabby cat that ran into the near by fields.
The GSPCA have been out to search the area with sadly no joy or sign of the cat.
If you are in the area please watch out for the cat and any sightings or information please call us on 01481 257261.

Last week on the 1st March a stray cockerel was rescued near the reservoir.
The bird was found with a head injury and collected by Animal Collection Officer Geoff George and is being cared for at the GSPCA.
Geoff George Animal Collection Officer said "We rescued the bird on the 1st March and are appealing for an owner to come forward."
"Despite his head injury he is doing well and if anyone is missing any animal in Guernsey please do call us on 257261."
Last night the GSPCA Wardens were called out to L'Islet to help rescue a very poorly injured cat.
The grey female cat had clear injuries and was taken directly to Isabelle Vets where she has been cared for overnight and undergoing x-rays and tests as she is very unwell before coming back to the GSPCA.
When she was rescued she was soaking wet, flat, lethargic, and barely moving her back legs.
Sadly she had no microchip or tag to contact an owner and the most apparent injury was her skin had been taken off of her tail.
Last month we had rescued what we thought was a stray stick insect found in the Villocq area of Castel.
We thought this to be the first stray stick insect we have had on record at the GSPCA and we put out an appeal for anyone who has lost their pet insect to get in touch.
As a result of the appeal we have had contact with those living in the area to say that over the last three years they have spotted the stick insects both in their garden and home of which the picture is one cheeky lady that was spotted in a bedroom in the Villocq area.
On Sunday a stray stick insect was found in the Villocq area of Castel and is now at the GSPCA.
This is the first stray stick insect we have had on record at the GSPCA and we are currently appealing for anyone who has lost their pet insect to get in touch.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We help stray dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other pets on a daily basis at the GSPCA but to have a stray stick insect being found and brought in is unique."
"The stray stick insect is doing well and we have named him Stan."
Yesterday a stray yellow and white female budgie was found on Collings Road and is now at the GSPCA.
Each year we help dozens of stray pet parakeets, parrots and finches at the GSPCA.
We now have two stray budgies in our care as just over a week ago a blue stray budgie was found on Ruette De Saumarez.
Sadly we rarely find the owners of the smaller birds and we are currently appealing for any information if you know of anyone that has lost a stray budgie.
On Thursday last week a stray blue budgie was found on Ruette De Saumarez and is now at the GSPCA.
Each year we help dozens of stray pet parakeets, parrots and finches at the GSPCA.
Sadly we rarely find the owners of the smaller birds and we are currently appealing for any information if you know of anyone that has lost a stray budgie.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Last Thursday we helped a stray budgie which we have named 'Blu'."
On Friday 9th September a Herman tortoise was been rescued in near the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
He is now in the care of the Shelter in a pen under the care of the team at the GSPCA.
The team have named him 'Micky' and we are appealing for the owner to please get in touch.
During Spring and Summer the GSPCA often see up to 30 male stray tortoise, although we rarely see females that are lost.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Poor Micky the stray tortoise that arrived on Friday was found near the PEH."
Two stray corn snakes have been rescued and are now in the care of the GSPCA in the last two weeks.
Each year we help a small number of snakes that are found in gardens or on the road that have escaped from their owners.
The first was found near St Saviour's Reservoir nearly two weeks ago and another was rescued on Saturday in La Mare de Carteret.
Yvonne Chauvel Senior Animal Care Assistant said "Currently we have two stray snakes in our care 'Pollyana' who was rescued two weeks ago in St Saviour's and 'Boey' who is from La Mare de Carteret on Saturday."
