Thank you to Grow Ltd for the lovely strawberries and advice for tortoise owners

Submitted by Steve on 12:11, 2nd Jul, 2019 | 0

A huge thanks from the GSPCA to our friends at Grow Ltd who recently donated a huge amount of strawberries.

The animals very much enjoyed them as a lovely treat, but you must take care as these lovely tasting fruits for some species need to be given very sparingly for various reasons for their health.

Your tortoise and strawberries

You should protect any strawberries growing in your garden, as they are a particular favourite of Mediterranean tortoises.
