Not only have we been celebrating our 151st year, the 22nd February is National Wildlife Day.
National Wildlife Day is a very new holiday, having been founded in 2005 by Colleen Paige. Ms. Paige is considered one of America's leading Pet & Family Lifestyle Experts and wanted to bring awareness to the number of endangered animals that need to be preserved and rescued and also to acknowledge zoos and outstanding animal sanctuaries for everything they do to help animals.
When is National Wildlife Day?
Today is Love Your Pet Day and here at the GSPCA we would love to see pictures of your pets.
Why not share pictures or videos of your animals with us on our facebook or twitter pages as we 'All Love Our Pets' and we love to see them.
If you are looking for a pet then look no further as at the Shelter we currently have gerbils, ferrets, cats, cockatiels, rabbits, cockerels and dogs all looking for new and loving homes.
