JOULES of Guernsey’s recent window display has caused quite a stir amongst island dog lovers who have taken a liking to the 10 cardboard canines currently residing at the front of the Pollet shop.
‘Since we made the display we have had quite a few people asking if they could buy the dogs when it is taken down. The team and I thought this would be a great way to raise some funds for the GSPCA so from Monday we will be accepting sealed bids for each of the cardboard cutouts,’ explained Joules’ manager Carol Hutchins.

This Sunday, 25th March from 1:30 until 4:30
Location: Blanchelande School Field

Deacon the young black and white cat who wasn’t very well when he arrived at the Shelter has now had his operation to remove a total of 26 teeth leaving him with only 4 left.
This was due to a medical issue that he had and the medical treatment and care has topped over £1000. We would like to thank everyone so far that helped donate to this lovely little lad as without kind donations, monthly giving and legacies we wouldn’t be able to care for cats like Deacon.
The GSPCA would like to thank Les Cotils Coffee Shop and Bistro for signing up for the GSPCA Cupcake Week. Nicky Terry Centre Manager has been in touch and if you visit between Monday 26th March and Saturday 31st March the sale proceeds of cupcakes will be donated to the Animal Shelter.
So if you are passing please pop in have some cake and support Les Cotils and the GSPCA.
